Our Services

We provide a variety of in-home and community based services in Essex County NJ/Northern NJ area.

• Our infant playgroups offer expert guidance and support for both mother and baby, ensuring the baby gets a great start in development through tummy time and positioning exercises, all while fostering a nurturing community. Developmental check-in appointments for 0-12 months are available to provide support on specific skills and milestones

• Local community playgroups for toddlers and preschoolers to explore the sensory systems, build fine and gross motor skills and social play, while promoting communication, school readiness skills and parent/caregiver bonding regardless of their developmental background

• Handwriting programs for school-aged children to boost handwriting skills using multi sensory approach and Learning Without Tears method

  Why Groups? Group settings provide valuable opportunities for social interaction, peer modeling, and increased motivation. It also helps children generalize skills to real-life community settings while providing parental support, fostering involvement, and creating a sense of community among families!

Our Goal

Playful Pathways is a nurturing space where infants, toddlers, and school-aged children can learn, play, and grow together! Our goal is to create a solid foundation for all children to thrive in their natural environments. Parents are essential partners in this process, and our therapists will guide them, ensuring understanding at every stage. All programs are thoughtfully designed by a pediatric occupational therapist and mother of three.

An occupational therapist's expertise and support can benefit ALL infants, toddlers, and children. OTs are specialists in child development and can adapt group programs to meet each child's unique needs. At Playful Pathways, all programs are designed to encourage children to play with others, develop and learn new skills, and engage in movement through play, regardless of whether they need direct OT services to overcome challenges.
